Name: Campbell (from Gaelic cam 'crooked', 'bent' + beul 'mouth')
Gender: Agender

Character Class: Jester
Skills: Stress healing & music. An entertainer who laughs in the face of cosmic enmity.
Personality: Inured to the horrors of the hamlet through living the horrors at court, Campbell took a great deal of abuse from the king before ultimately killing him and every other noble.
Trauma made him funny, though.
Misc Trivia:
All of Campbell's bardic song references are to pop hits of the 80s and 90s, despite the setting being faux-medieval. I think Campbell's lute has a dimensional time bubble attached to it that dredges up songs from the past and/or future of their current setting.
Ending of Darkest Dungeon I:
Campbell's canon ending is Fourtwoflow's masterful performance of the final Darkest Dungeon boss:

The 'Ancestor' who called the heroes to the hamlet turned out to be the heart of darkness, incarnate of all creation. Campbell's team absolutely wrecked him, and nobody died, while in the 'true' canon ending the game mechanics force at least two deaths in the main party.
